Amaravati's Landless to Receive Enhanced Pensions, Announces AP Government
The Government of Andhra Pradesh, under the leadership of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, has announced good news for the landless poor in the capital city of Amaravati. The government has increased the monthly pension provided from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 5,000. Along with the pension increase, the government has also released Rs. 21.98 crores for the provision of free education and healthcare services.
This announcement was made through a Government Order (GO) issued on Friday. The release of funds was confirmed by the Special Chief Secretary of the Municipal Administration Department, Y. Srilakshmi, through issued orders.
