Revanth Reddy became CM by licking the boots of Andhra people: KTR
Hyderabad: The verbal war between CM Revanth Reddy and opposition leader KTR continues. KTR once again challenged Revanth Reddy, daring him to contest in Malkajgiri if he dares.
Speaking at a BRS meeting in Kamareddy constituency, KTR questioned why Revanth Reddy is not accepting his challenge. "Let's both contest in Malkajgiri... It will determine who the real man is among us. Winning or losing in elections doesn't solely define a man... Revanth Reddy should accept my challenge," KTR asserted with intensity.
"My father's name is KCR... I entered politics through a movement and won as an MLA five times. Unlike Revanth Reddy, I didn't take wrongful paths. It was Revanth Reddy who, by switching parties and 'licking the boots' of Andhra people, became CM. He needs to learn to conduct himself with dignity as a Chief Minister... Revanth should now stop his petty talks," KTR advised sternly.
He criticized the Congress party for deceiving people with unrealistic promises to gain power. "If you fail to keep your promises to the farmers, your defeat is certain," he warned CM Revanth Reddy.
KTR pointed out Revanth's election promise of giving a tola (approximately 10 grams) of gold for girls' marriages, which has not been fulfilled. He mentioned that only KCR's implemented scheme, Kalyana Lakshmi cheques, are being distributed.
