YS Sharmila Demands Explanation from Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan: Alliance with BJP Questioned
YS Sharmila, the President of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Party, has responded to the alliance formed between the TDP-Jan Sena parties and the ruling BJP at the Centre. Despite the BJP's failure to grant special status to Andhra Pradesh and being accused of backstabbing the state, Sharmila questioned how Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan justified their alliance with the BJP to the people of AP. She accused them of needing to provide an explanation. Sharmila also alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy is secretly collaborating with the BJP, questioning why one should serve as a slave to the BJP.
At a public meeting on Sunday, Sharmila demanded the release of a white paper by the BJP on the actual number of jobs provided, in light of their promise to create 2 crore jobs annually. She criticized Jagan Mohan Reddy for not fulfilling the promise of filling 2.30 lakh job vacancies, alleging that the mega DSC (District Selection Committee) turned out to be a deception. Sharmila questioned the difference between the BJP and YSRCP, accusing YSRCP of acting as a B-team to the BJP in Andhra Pradesh and Jagan Mohan Reddy of proving to be a successor to the BJP. She condemned the wastage of public funds through 'Siddham' meetings.
Sharmila criticized the misleading tactics employed by parties allied with the BJP, urging the public to teach them a lesson. She announced the Congress National Manifesto for the youth, promising employment opportunities under the name 'Bharati Bharosa'. She mentioned Rahul Gandhi's response to youth and unemployment issues as the basis for this manifesto.
