Kesineni Nani Reveals the True Reason Behind Refusing to Give Bouquet to Chandrababu in Delhi
During a past visit of TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu to Delhi, a video of MP Kesineni Nani refusing to give him a bouquet went viral. While MP Galla Jayadev attempted to hand over the bouquet to Nani, suggesting he present it to Chandrababu, Nani was seen discarding it. This led many to believe Nani acted out of resentment towards Chandrababu. However, Kesineni Nani has recently revealed the actual reason behind his actions.
Nani explained that a dispute had occurred between him and Galla Jayadev just before the incident, concerning the posting of Jayadev's photo on Nani's Facebook page. When Naidu was about to arrive in Delhi, both MPs went to the airport to welcome him. During their wait, Jayadev questioned Nani about not sharing his photo on Facebook. Nani responded that there was no need to post Jayadev's photo, stating he would rather post pictures of NTR and Chandrababu Naidu, reflecting his respect and admiration for them.
The argument escalated, with Jayadev insisting on his importance as the parliamentary party leader, while Nani stood firm on his stance. Eventually, Nani suggested taking the discussion outside to avoid further confrontation in public.
Nani admitted to apologizing to Jayadev, explaining he didn't have a large social media team to manage photo postings. Despite the apology, Jayadev remained upset.
As Chandrababu's plane landed, and they moved outside due to the crowd, Jayadev, seemingly feeling guilty, had brought a bouquet and shawl for Naidu through his aide, Chittibabu from Guntur. When Jayadev gestured for Nani to present the bouquet to Chandrababu, Nani, still upset from their earlier dispute, ended up discarding the bouquet away.
Nani clarified that the media was not allowed inside the airport and it was Jayadev's aide, Chittibabu, who recorded and shared the video. He emphasized that his actions were not against Chandrababu, whom he respects as the party chief.
