KCR Prepares for Lok Sabha Elections with Post-Ugadi Roadshows
Following a defeat in the Assembly elections, KCR (K. Chandrashekar Rao) is determined to showcase his strength in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. It is understood that the BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samithi) Chief, having finalized the candidates for all constituencies except Hyderabad, has decided to engage directly with the public after Ugadi. Unlike previous occasions where KCR gave significant importance to public meetings, this time he has opted to participate in roadshows and corner meetings. KCR plans to cover all 17 constituencies, for which strategies are being devised.
The decision to take to the roadshows is seen as a move to get closer to the people and also to boost the morale of the party cadre, according to BRS circles. Out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats, candidates for 16 seats have been announced by KCR, leaving the Hyderabad seat pending. Although Srikanth, belonging to the BC (Backward Class) community, is almost finalized as the candidate for Hyderabad, an official announcement is awaited.
