Amit Shah promises AP's development if coalition wins
Amaravati: During a public meeting in Dharmavaram on behalf of the alliance, Amit Shah, Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader, stated that the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena have formed a coalition in Andhra Pradesh specifically to end the corrupt and chaotic administration in the state. Shah explained that he visited the state to support the ongoing struggle against corruption. At the rally, he greeted TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders present, and began his speech by paying homage to the sacred land of Hindupur and Satya Sai Baba.
He announced that while the Lok Sabha elections are underway nationwide, Andhra Pradesh is also hosting its legislative assembly elections. He highlighted the coalition's commitment to fight corruption and criminal elements, stating his presence in Dharmavaram was to strengthen this fight. He noted that two phases of the seven-phased Lok Sabha elections had already concluded, with the BJP achieving significant victories, and expressed confidence in the coalition's prospects in the third phase, aiming for 400 seats.
Amit Shah addressed the purpose of the alliance, stating it was formed to end criminal activities and corruption, re-establish Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh, protect the sacredness of Lord Venkateswara, and preserve the Telugu language. He criticized the Jagan Reddy government for undermining the Telugu language, assuring that the BJP would safeguard it as long as they are in power.
Finally, Shah emphasized the importance of the Polavaram project as a lifeline for Andhra Pradesh, crediting the BJP for its national status and promising rapid completion of the project if the BJP-led government is elected at both the state and central levels.
