Nampally Court Delivers Sensational Verdict: Death Sentence for Murder Convict

The Nampally Criminal Court in Hyderabad has announced a landmark verdict, sentencing a man to death for the murder of three individuals. The case dates back to 2022 and involved the tragic deaths of a couple and their infant.

Nagulu Sailu and Arthi, a couple residing in Narayanguda, Hyderabad, made their living by running a flower business. Due to frequent domestic disputes, Arthi decided to separate from her husband and left their home. Allegedly suspecting her of an extramarital relationship with a man named Nagaraju, Sailu repeatedly warned Arthi against continuing the association. When she ignored his warnings and stayed with Nagaraju, Sailu attacked the couple.

In a horrifying incident, Sailu doused Arthi and Nagaraju with petrol and set them on fire. Tragically, their 10-month-old infant, who was also present, sustained critical injuries. Despite medical efforts, all three succumbed to their injuries.

Following a complaint lodged by Arthi’s mother, the police arrested Sailu and his accomplice, Rahul. After extensive legal proceedings, the Nampally Court delivered its verdict on Friday. The court sentenced Sailu to death for his role in the deaths and imposed life imprisonment and a fine of ₹1,000 on Rahul for assisting him in the crime.
