Madhu Murthy Appointed as Chairman of AP Higher Education Council

Madhu Murthy has been appointed as the Chairman of the Andhra Pradesh Higher Education Council. He will serve in this position for a tenure of three years. The appointment was formally announced on Saturday through an official order issued by the Education Department Secretary Kona Sashidhar.

Currently, Professor Madhu Murthy is a member of the Warangal NEET Board of Governors. A native of Jagarlamudi village in Tenali Mandal of Guntur district, he pursued his education in Visakhapatnam and is presently residing in Hanumakonda.

It is noteworthy that the previous Chairman, Hemachandra Reddy, resigned from his position on the day the election results were announced. Since then, the post had remained vacant, with Vice Chairman Ramamohan Rao serving as the interim in-charge.
