PM Modi Honored with Kalamkari Portrait in Andhra Capital Ceremony

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh, to participate in the formal relaunch of development activities for the state's capital. At the helipad located near the State Secretariat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded a ceremonial welcome by Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazir, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. The dignitaries then proceeded towards the event venue.
Governor Abdul Nazir and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan were the first to ascend the event stage. Following them, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu joined the stage.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu draped Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a specially crafted handloom shawl made in Dharmavaram. In a gesture of honor, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan presented a portrait of Prime Minister Narendra Modi created by Kalamkari handloom artisans.
Also present on the dais were Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Andhra Pradesh Governor Abdul Nazir, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, state ministers Nara Lokesh, P. Narayana, Nandendla Manohar, and Union ministers Ram Mohan Naidu, Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, and Srinivas Varma, among others. At the time of reporting, Nara Lokesh was delivering his address.
