Telangana Minister Inaugurates Dil Raju’s ‘Larven AI’ Studio
In a significant step forward in the application of advanced technology in the Telugu film industry, prominent producer Dil Raju launched the 'Larven AI' studio in Hyderabad. The inauguration took place on Saturday, with Telangana Minister for Information Technology and Industries, D. Sridhar Babu, formally inaugurating the facility. On the occasion, another leading producer, Allu Aravind, unveiled the studio’s logo. Several renowned filmmakers and key figures from the Telugu cinema fraternity attended the event and extended their congratulations to Dil Raju.

Speaking at the event, D. Sridhar Babu recalled his longstanding acquaintance with Dil Raju and commended him for establishing the studio with a strong commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology into film production.

“Just by watching a few videos showcased here, it is evident what Larven AI Studio is capable of. In the field of technology, we have proven ourselves as global leaders. I believe this Larven Studio will further enhance the reputation of Telangana and Hyderabad,” said D. Sridhar Babu.

He stated that Artificial Intelligence can be utilized across all phases of filmmaking—from storytelling to distribution. Highlighting that AI has already been used in projects such as the Hollywood film industry and the Telugu film Kalki, the Minister expressed the view that AI would usher in revolutionary changes in cinema. He emphasized that those who embrace and adapt to these changes would emerge as leaders, and conveyed his best wishes to Dil Raju and his team.

Producer Dil Raju, addressing the gathering, stated that the idea of launching an AI studio first occurred to him nearly two years ago. As part of the journey, he consulted with the company 'Quantum AI' to explore the application of Artificial Intelligence in cinema in detail.

“Going forward, AI will be involved in all segments of filmmaking, including pre-production, post-production, and promotions. Once a script is ready, it will be possible to pre-visualize the entire film using AI with sound effects and visuals. That is our primary goal,” said Dil Raju.

He expressed confidence that AI will introduce many more innovations in the future and may improve the success rate of films. By adopting AI, directors and writers can save time while producers can cut costs, thereby enabling the creation of more quality films. He humorously described AI as an “assistant director without emotions.”

The launch event was graced by several prominent directors, including K. Raghavendra Rao, Sukumar, Nag Ashwin, Anil Ravipudi, Vamshi Paidipally, Bobby (K.S. Ravindra), Mohanakrishna Indraganti, and V.V. Vinayak. They welcomed the technological transformation in Telugu cinema with enthusiasm.
