Pankaja Sri Clarifies Vallabhaneni Vamsi’s Health Condition

Pankaja Sri, wife of former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, has provided a clarification regarding his current health condition. She stated that Vallabhaneni Vamsi is suffering from multiple health issues and is presently undergoing treatment under medical supervision.

According to Pankaja Sri, Vallabhaneni Vamsi was admitted to the hospital last Saturday. Doctors diagnosed him with pedal edema (swelling in the legs) and also noted a decrease in hemoglobin levels. She mentioned that, in response, doctors have changed his current medications and prescribed new ones.

She further stated that Vallabhaneni Vamsi had a pre-existing respiratory issue, hypoxia, which has worsened due to current environmental conditions. Doctors have categorized it as a 'second-grade' condition and have included an inhaler as part of his treatment. Pankaja Sri clarified that this respiratory difficulty is not due to any problems in prison, but rather because of unfavorable weather conditions.

Pankaja Sri also revealed that Vallabhaneni Vamsi has informed the judge about his health issues. She said that he presented the above-mentioned medical concerns before the court, and the judge advised him to file a petition on health grounds. Currently, Vallabhaneni Vamsi is following the prescribed treatment regimen under the guidance of doctors.
