In response to reports that Indian defence forces carried out targeted strikes on terrorist bases in Pakistan, several political leaders across the country expressed their approval and appreciation. Many also viewed the strikes as a fitting retaliation for the recent terror attack in Pahalgam.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehad-ul-Muslimeen (AIMIM) president and Hyderabad Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi welcomed the strikes through a post on the social media platform ‘X’. “I welcome the targeted strikes by our defence forces on the secret terror bases in Pakistan. When India strikes, it does so swiftly and decisively. Our forces hit exactly where it hurt. This is revenge for the martyrs of Pahalgam. Those who challenge India must pay the price. I am proud of our brave soldiers! Mera Bharat Mahan, Jai Hind!” Bandi Sanjay stated in his post.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu commended ‘Operation Sindhoor’ through a post on ‘X’, simply stating “Jai Hind”. K. Ram Mohan Naidu, Union Minister for Civil Aviation, also responded, declaring, “No tolerance for terrorism. Bharat Mata Ki Jai”.
