Pawan Kalyan Donates Full MLA Salary to Orphans in Pithapuram

Deputy Chief Minister and Pithapuram MLA Pawan Kalyan has announced a significant decision concerning his legislative salary. He declared that the entirety of his earnings as an MLA will be dedicated to supporting orphaned children within the Pithapuram constituency.

Speaking about the decision, Pawan Kalyan stated that the people of Pithapuram had elected him as their legislator with great trust. He emphasized that it was his responsibility to work for the development of the constituency and resolve its issues in line with the expectations of the voters.

He further said that he had resolved to utilize the salary he receives through the mandate given by the people of Pithapuram exclusively within the constituency. As part of this commitment, he stated that the full amount would be allocated to the future and welfare of children who have lost their parents.

Pawan Kalyan made it clear that for the entire duration of his tenure in office, his monthly salary would be used solely for the welfare of orphaned children. On Friday, at the camp office in Mangalagiri, he extended financial assistance from his salary to 42 orphaned children belonging to the Pithapuram constituency. Each child received ₹5,000 per month, amounting to a total of ₹2,10,000.

He added that the remaining portion of his salary would also be spent on ensuring the well-being of these children. On Friday, he personally handed over the aid to 32 of the children who were present, and announced that the remaining ten would receive the assistance through the district administration. He further informed that arrangements were being made to deliver this support to the children at their homes on a monthly basis.
