Hyderabad Software Engineer Jumps from 32nd Floor, Dies

A tragic incident unfolded in Hyderabad as a young software engineer, reportedly suffering from severe depression, died by suicide after jumping from the top of a multi-storey residential building. The incident occurred on Saturday morning in Kokapet, within the jurisdiction of Narsingi Police Station, and came to light later.
According to Narsingi Police Inspector Harikrishna Reddy and local sources, the deceased was identified as Aman Jain, 32, a native of Delhi. He was residing with his wife in Tower One of the My Home Tarkshya Apartments in Kokapet. Both Aman Jain and his wife were employed in the software industry. Reports indicate that Aman Jain had been battling serious depression for some time and was undergoing treatment.
On Saturday morning, while his family members were at home, Aman Jain went up to the 32nd floor of Tower One, where he lived, and suddenly jumped from the building. He sustained critical injuries and died on the spot, leading to immense grief for his family.
Upon receiving information, the Narsingi Police arrived promptly at the scene. Based on a complaint lodged by the deceased’s family members, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation, Inspector Harikrishna Reddy stated. He added that a thorough probe is underway to ascertain the exact reasons behind the suicide and to gather comprehensive details related to the depression. The body was shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examination.
