Ravi Shastri Shares Emotional Message After Kohli’s Test Exit

Indian cricket team legend and former captain Virat Kohli made a sensational announcement on Monday, declaring his retirement from Test cricket. He revealed that he is bringing to an end his illustrious 14-year-long career in the longest format of the game. With this decision, a significant chapter in Indian cricket has come to a close.
Virat Kohli played a total of 123 Test matches, amassing 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85. His record includes 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries. In addition, he led the Indian Test team in 68 matches, securing 40 victories, and thereby established himself as the most successful Test captain in India’s cricketing history.
Reacting to Kohli’s retirement announcement, former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri expressed his sentiments on social media. “I can’t believe you’ve stepped away. You are a modern-day cricketing legend. In every innings you played and in your captaincy, you stood as a great ambassador for Test cricket.
