Former MP Nandigam Suresh Arrested Over Alleged Assault on TDP Worker

Former YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) Member of Parliament Nandigam Suresh has been arrested by the police in connection with an attack on Telugu Desam Party (TDP) worker Isakapalli Raju. He was taken into custody and transferred to the Tulluru Police Station.
The incident reportedly occurred last night in Uddandarayunipalem, located within the Amaravati capital region. A car allegedly sped into the area, prompting TDP worker Raju to reprimand the driver. Following this, associates of Nandigam Suresh allegedly attacked Raju and forcibly took him to Suresh’s residence.
According to a complaint filed by Raju’s wife Lakshmi at the Tulluru Police Station, Nandigam Suresh and his brother Prabhudas physically assaulted Raju at the residence.
Based on the complaint, Tulluru police registered a case against Nandigam Suresh and others, and arrested him earlier today. Police are currently searching for his brother Prabhudas and several other relatives in connection with the case.
Meanwhile, Nandigam Suresh’s wife expressed anger over his arrest. In protest, she held a demonstration outside the Tulluru Police Station.
