Former MP Nandigam Suresh Remanded Over Alleged Attack
Former Member of Parliament and YSR Congress Party leader Nandigam Suresh has been remanded by the Mangalagiri court in connection with a case related to an alleged assault on a Telugu Desam Party worker. The court directed the police to place Nandigam Suresh in judicial custody until the 2nd of next month. Following the court’s instructions, the police are transferring him to Guntur district jail.

Nandigam Suresh was arrested by the police on Sunday morning. He was then taken to the Mangalagiri Government Hospital for a medical examination. On Monday morning, the police produced him before the Mangalagiri court.

In anticipation of the court appearance, police made extensive security arrangements. A large number of Nandigam Suresh's supporters gathered at the court premises but were dispersed by the police. No other individuals were allowed inside the court premises during the proceedings.
