KTR Responds to Notices Issued to K. Chandrashekar Rao
Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K. T. Rama Rao strongly reacted to the issuance of notices to former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao by the Justice P. C. Ghose Commission in connection with the Kaleshwaram project. K. T. Rama Rao alleged that the Congress government, having neglected public issues, was now engaging in acts of political vendetta. He described the current developments as a political drama orchestrated jointly by the Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

K. T. Rama Rao claimed that the notices issued to K. Chandrashekar Rao were a result of the Congress government's administrative failure over the past 17 months and were aimed at diverting public attention. He criticized the state administration, stating that democratic governance had eroded and a regime of commissions had taken its place. “Even Congress MLAs and ministers themselves admit that no government work is proceeding without commissions. This alone indicates how dire the situation is in the state,” said K. T. Rama Rao.

Referring to the SLBC tunnel collapse that claimed eight lives and the failure of the Sunkishala project in Nalgonda, K. T. Rama Rao accused the Congress government of failing to assist the victims and respond adequately to the tragedies. “So obsessed are they with commissions that they are incapable of focusing even on relief operations. This is an incompetent government that lacks the courage even to retrieve dead bodies,” he said.

K. T. Rama Rao further alleged that conspiracies were being hatched around the Kaleshwaram project, thereby undermining the state’s development. He emphasized that no matter how many notices were issued, the BRS would not back down from holding the government accountable for its promises. “What happened to the six guarantees you announced? What about the promised gold allocation and the pension of ₹4,000? We will continue to question the government about these issues,” he said.

Reaffirming his trust in the judiciary, K. T. Rama Rao expressed hope that justice and righteousness would ultimately prevail. He dismissed the notices as trivial political maneuvers, likening them to "feathers in the wind." K. T. Rama Rao predicted that the public would soon reject the Congress government, which he said was being exposed for its failures.
