Investigations are progressing swiftly in the case of Jyoti Malhotra, who was arrested on serious charges of leaking highly sensitive national security information to Pakistan’s intelligence agency, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). Central investigative agencies have been conducting intensive inquiries, uncovering new details daily that are generating widespread attention.

Jyoti Malhotra, who was taken into custody last week, is currently undergoing thorough interrogation. During this process, investigators discovered that she had been in constant communication with Ali Hassan, an ISI agent based in Pakistan. The agencies reviewed their WhatsApp conversations, revealing several intriguing details.

According to officials, the WhatsApp chats between Jyoti Malhotra and Ali Hassan contained emotionally charged exchanges. Investigators stated that in one message, Jyoti Malhotra requested, “Marry me in Pakistan.” It was also found that she shared some crucial information related to the Indian Army with him. Parts of their communication included coded language, which authorities have confirmed pertains to espionage activities.

Investigative agencies are also scrutinizing Jyoti Malhotra’s financial transactions. Police sources revealed that she maintains four bank accounts, and one of them received funds from Dubai. All of these accounts are now under close examination as authorities intensify their investigation into the origin and purpose of these funds.

Amid ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, national security agencies have become increasingly vigilant. Following Jyoti Malhotra’s arrest, security agencies detained another ten individuals across the country under allegations of leaking Indian military secrets to Pakistan. These individuals are primarily from the states of Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh. The investigation continues to determine who else may be involved in this case.
