Mohanlal’s ‘Vrusshabha’ First Look Released
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal celebrated his 65th birthday on Wednesday. On this occasion, the makers of his pan-India film Vrusshabha unveiled the first look of the actor from the movie. Mohanlal appeared as a fierce warrior in the poster, surprising his fans with his intense appearance. Clad in an armour designed with golden and wheat-coloured dragon-scale patterns, he sported long hair, a thick beard, and a prominent white tilak on his forehead. His look was further accentuated by traditional ornaments and a nose ring, portraying him as a majestic royal warrior.

Sharing the first look on social media, Mohanlal expressed his joy, stating, “This is very special. Dedicated to all my fans. The wait is over. The storm has awakened. Proudly and powerfully unveiling the Vrusshabha first look. It is a story that will stir your soul and echo through time.” He added that releasing the look on his birthday made the moment even more joyful and said that the love of his fans remains his greatest strength.

The high-budget film is directed by Nanda Kishore and is being produced jointly by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C K Padmakumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abhishek S Vyas, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta, under the banners of Connect Media and Balaji Telefilms. Vrusshabha is being filmed simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu. The producers announced that the film will be released globally in Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada languages on October 16, 2025.

Meanwhile, to mark Mohanlal’s birthday, the team behind another of his upcoming projects, Kannappa, also released a special poster and a short glimpse from the film, offering fans a double treat. Actor and producer Manchu Vishnu, who plays a leading role in Kannappa, extended birthday wishes to Mohanlal on social media, saying, “Birthday wishes to Sri Mohanlal, one of the legends of cinema. It is an honour to share the screen with the legend. Thank you for being part of Kannappa and part of my life.”
