Kodali Nani Under Surveillance After Lookout Notice from Union Government

The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has issued lookout notices against YSRCP leader and former minister Kodali Nani. Based on intelligence suggesting a possibility that he may attempt to leave the country, the Centre has directed relevant authorities to maintain surveillance across all modes of transport. The directives reportedly emphasize that strict watch should be maintained without exception—whether by land, air, or sea.
Multiple cases have already been registered against Kodali Nani in Andhra Pradesh. According to sources, some of these cases involve serious charges, including sections under which, if proven guilty, he could face a maximum sentence of up to seven years in prison. In this context, central investigative agencies reportedly suspect that he might try to evade the ongoing legal proceedings by fleeing abroad.
Typically, the Union government issues lookout circulars in situations where there are strong suspicions that an accused individual may abscond from the country to avoid investigation or arrest. In the case of Kodali Nani, the lookout notices have triggered heightened surveillance over his movements.
Immigration authorities at airports, seaports, and land borders have been alerted. Should Kodali Nani attempt to travel abroad, there is a possibility that he may be taken into custody immediately. This development has become a major talking point in the political circles of Andhra Pradesh.
