Chiranjeevi-Anil Ravipudi’s ‘Mega 157’ Commences Filming

The regular shooting of the film Mega 157, starring Megastar Chiranjeevi and directed by Anil Ravipudi, began on Friday. According to reports, the shoot commenced following Chiranjeevi’s look test conducted at Annapurna Studios. Along with Chiranjeevi, key scenes featuring other prominent cast members were also filmed.

Sources indicated that the first schedule will focus on filming important sequences involving Chiranjeevi and other crucial members of the cast. Nayanthara has been cast as the female lead in this film. The makers recently announced her inclusion through a special video.

Anil Ravipudi, known for delivering a string of successful films such as Sarileru Neekevvaru, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Sankranthiki Vachestunnam, is aiming to bring his trademark energy to Mega 157. The film’s music is being composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.

Mega 157 is being jointly produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmitha Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

The production team has announced plans to complete the film’s shoot within this year and release it during Sankranti 2026. Meanwhile, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who has already completed work on Vishwambhara, is slated to collaborate next with Dasara director Srikanth Odela after completing Anil Ravipudi’s project.
