Constable Dies, Three Injured as Lorry Crashes into Patrol Vehicle in Shamshabad

A fatal road accident occurred near Shamshabad in Ranga Reddy district. A speeding lorry on the Bengaluru National Highway crashed into a police patrolling vehicle, leading to the immediate death of a constable identified as Vijay Kumar.

Vijay Kumar was serving as a constable at the Shamshabad Police Station. Following the collision, three other constables sustained serious injuries. They were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment. Authorities have disclosed that the condition of one of the injured officers is critical.

The police have registered a case in connection with the incident and an investigation is currently underway.
