“I Never Asked for Property”: Manchu Manoj Breaks Silence
Actor Manchu Manoj expressed his heartfelt wish that a day would come when all his family members would sit together for a meal, embrace each other affectionately, and engage in warm conversations. He stated that he was praying to God for that day to arrive. Sharing an emotional moment, Manchu Manoj said it was his desire to see his father, Mohan Babu, lift his daughter in his arms. He emphasized that he has great affection for his father and holds no anger towards him.

In a recent podcast as part of the promotion for the film Bhairavam, Manchu Manoj opened up about recent developments within his family and conveyed his inner thoughts.

Manchu Manoj conveyed his anguish over missing his mother due to the prevailing circumstances. “Conditions have been imposed to meet my mother. I must seek permission to visit her. Otherwise, if I go, she must come outside her home to see me. No one should have to face such a situation,” he said. He added that his mother misses them greatly, occasionally visits them, and is deeply fond of his daughter.

Manchu Manoj stated that due to these conflicts, he had to distance himself from his sister as well. Referring to the recent Teach for Change program conducted under her leadership, he said she was unaware of whether he would attend. He mentioned that he went solely for her sake. “She was deeply afraid all this time, not knowing what would happen to me. With God’s grace, my children, and the courage from my fans, I have endured,” he explained.

Discussing family responsibilities, Manchu Manoj posed a rhetorical question: “When your family depends on you, and someone comes to attack with knives, and a knife lies before you, what would you do? Will you watch silently when they attack, or pick up the knife to protect your own? When you are alone, you can endure many blows. That’s what happened in my life. Now, I have Mounika and my children.” He stated that his wife Mounika has endured numerous hardships, having lost her parents at a young age, and he wished no one else would suffer such pain. He clarified that she had no connection to these family disputes.

Manchu Manoj also addressed allegations regarding property disputes. “We have never asked for property. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise. Right after the conflict, they filed a complaint against me and erased the CCTV footage. This has always been the practice. This time, I came out to speak so that everyone would know. I cannot accept accusations and then admit they are true. I have two children too. If I had made a mistake, I would hide,” he said. He stated that he has always suggested resolving issues through dialogue and opposed further conflicts. He added that he does not feel anger towards their actions but instead feels sadness, and despite everything, he continues to love them and has never harbored hatred.

The film Bhairavam, featuring Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohit, and Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas in lead roles, is set to release on the 30th of this month.
