Suspended Jana Sena Leader Hits Back at Dil Raju Over Theatre Bandh Allegation

Atti Satyanarayana, also known as Satyanarayana of Anushree Films, who was recently suspended from the Jana Sena Party, has responded sharply to allegations made by prominent producer Dil Raju. At a press conference held in Rajahmundry, Atti Satyanarayana stated that Dil Raju had made accusations against him with malicious intent.
Atti Satyanarayana alleged that Dil Raju invoked his name solely to protect his younger brother Sirish Reddy. “I never announced a theatre bandh. I only responded to a journalist's question by explaining that theatres might close due to the lack of film releases,” he said. He further clarified that the announcement of a theatre shutdown on June 1 was made by Sirish Reddy, not him.
He claimed, “Dil Raju dragged my name into this controversy just to shield his brother. It was only after Pawan Kalyan warned him that Dil Raju mentioned the Jana Sena Party's name.” Atti Satyanarayana also remarked, “Dil Raju acted on a level worthy of the Oscars, surpassing even Kamal Haasan,” in reference to what he described as a performative act by the producer.
These statements follow comments made by producer Dil Raju at a press meet in Hyderabad on Monday, where he held Atti Satyanarayana responsible for the theatre bandh. The remarks sparked turmoil within the Jana Sena Party. In response, the party leadership immediately removed Atti Satyanarayana from his position as Rajahmundry City In-charge and suspended his primary membership. The party also instructed him to refrain from participating in party activities until the matter is fully investigated.
