Kavitha blames BRS leaders for political sabotage, reaffirms loyalty to KCR

Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Member of Legislative Council Kalvakuntla Kavitha has made sensational remarks, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the conduct of leaders within her own party. Alleging internal conspiracies against her, she reiterated her unwavering loyalty to her father and party president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). Her comments about internal party affairs and personal experiences have sparked significant discussion in political circles.
Kavitha questioned the silence of party leaders when notices were served to K. Chandrashekar Rao, stating, “When notices are issued to K. Chandrashekar Rao, how can the leaders remain silent?” She alleged that there are covert elements within the party who are now attempting to preach morality to her. She expressed anguish, saying, “How is it fair to target and cry over me?”
Kavitha claimed that feedback she had given internally was deliberately leaked. She stated that when she requested action against this, attacks were instead launched against her through paid social media campaigns. “Is it dignified to allow anyone to speak disrespectfully about a woman from our own household?” she asked.
Reflecting on past developments, Kavitha recalled the time when the liquor case came to light. She had expressed readiness to resign from her position, but K. Chandrashekar Rao had reportedly advised her against it. She made a serious allegation that during her bid for the Member of Parliament post, certain individuals from within the party conspired to defeat her. She firmly stated, “K. Chandrashekar Rao is the only leader for me.”
Kavitha also alleged that there were attempts to merge BRS into the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). She said she had clearly opposed the idea even when she was in jail. Expressing anger, she said that when she asked who leaked her letter, she was instead subjected to personal attacks.
