Actress Rakul Preet Singh expressed her concern over the increasing obsession with trivial matters on social media, stating that people are focusing excessively on irrelevant topics. Participating in a recent podcast, Rakul Preet Singh remarked, “A post from a fan page of actress Avneet Kaur was liked by Virat Kohli, and that became a major topic of discussion. Reportedly, Avneet gained as many as 2 million followers as a result of that one like. This is deeply disappointing. It makes me wonder if we all have so much time on our hands.”

“No one even considered whether Virat Kohli liked the post intentionally or by mistake. Sometimes, we accidentally unfollow even our close friends on Instagram. But since Kohli is a celebrity, even the smallest actions related to him are made viral. This is very unfortunate. He has already clarified the matter,” she stated.

Rakul Preet Singh opined that people are wasting their time on social media by excessively focusing on trivial details concerning celebrities. “In my view, this is completely unnecessary,” she asserted.
