New Telangana Jagruthi Office Inaugurated in Hyderabad by Kalvakuntla Kavitha

Kalvakuntla Kavitha, Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), inaugurated the new office of the Telangana Jagruthi organization on Saturday in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. She participated in traditional special prayers along with her husband before formally launching the office.
The event quickly sparked political debate across Telangana. Flex banners displayed at the venue caught significant public attention, prominently featuring images of Telangana ideologue Professor K. Jayashankar, BRS party chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (K. Chandrashekar Rao), and Kalvakuntla Kavitha herself. Notably, photographs of other key BRS leaders were absent from these displays.
There has been growing speculation in Telangana’s political circles that Kalvakuntla Kavitha might soon establish a political party of her own, with its flag rumored to feature the hues of the Indian roller (Palapitta bird). Lending weight to this speculation, Kalvakuntla Kavitha attended Saturday’s inauguration dressed in a saree matching the Palapitta color scheme. However, she has previously denied any such plans of launching a new political party.
Under the Telangana Jagruthi banner at the new office, images of Acharya Jayashankar, K. Chandrashekar Rao, and Kalvakuntla Kavitha were displayed. Additionally, the office houses statues of B. R. Ambedkar, Acharya Jayashankar, Telangana Thalli (the symbolic mother of Telangana), Jyotirao Phule, and Savitribai Phule, along with a memorial pillar dedicated to martyrs.
