Did Not Commit Any Wrong Knowingly: Singer Mangli Releases Selfie Video

Prominent folk singer Mangli has responded to the controversy surrounding her recent birthday celebrations at Tripura Resort in Chevella. The event, held at midnight, was raided by police over allegations that the party was conducted without prior permission. As a result, a case was registered against Mangli and several others, drawing widespread public and media attention.
In response to the developments, Mangli released a selfie video last night, stating that she had not knowingly committed any wrongdoing. She explained that the incident was an unintentional oversight.
Mangli stated, “I organized the birthday celebration with the intention of spending time with my family. It was held according to the wishes of my parents, and attended by family members, relatives, and friends. Alcohol and a sound system were arranged, but I was not aware that permission was required for these. Had someone informed me, I would have certainly obtained the necessary permissions. The party at the resort was a sudden, impromptu plan. If I had known, I would have taken permission without fail. No one told me it was required. I did not knowingly do anything wrong.”
She further clarified, “Only local liquor was present at the resort; there were no other intoxicating substances used or found. Even when the police conducted a search, no illegal substances were discovered. The individual who tested positive for marijuana had consumed it elsewhere, and at a different time, as confirmed by the police. An investigation is currently underway, and we are cooperating fully with the authorities. Why would I do such things knowingly? Would I encourage such behavior in the presence of my parents? I wish to be a role model, so why would I act otherwise?”
Addressing the media, she added, “To my friends in the media, I request—please do not level baseless allegations against me without evidence. Please.”
The video has since gone viral on social media platforms.
