Guv is behaving like BJP leader: Minister Jagadish Reddy
In an exclusive interview, Energy Minister G. Jagadish Reddy on Wednesday said that Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan is behaving like a BJP leader. “The state government will respect her if she functions as a Governor in letter and spirit,” he mentioned.
The minister made it clear that the TRS government had followed protocol related to the Governor on every occasion. “Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao arrives 15 minutes ahead of Governor for inviting her and tells the ministers to follow the protocol in every meeting,” he said. While terming the comments made by the Governor against the TRS government as unfortunate, Jagadish said that either the ministers or TRS leaders did not speak about Tamilisai in public.
The minister expressed surprise over the Governor’s statement that she is ready for talks with the CM. “KCR always met the Governor and discussed various issues with her,” he added and said as to why the question arises of talks between the Governor and CM.
