Crowning glory for Yash and Prashanth Neel as KGF2 surpasses 'Dangal' record

Hyderabad: 'KGF2', which was directed by Prashanth Neel, starring Sandalwood star Yash as a hero has set a new record on its first day. From there it continued its journey without looking back. It is surpassing previous records of all films, including Aamir Khan’s 'Dangal'. 

So far, 'Baahubali 2' has topped the list with a gross of Rs 511.3 crore in the Hindi belt, followed by 'Dangal' with a gross of Rs 387.4 crore. Now, 'KGF2' has surpassed this record. 'KGF2', which grossed Rs 391.65 crore, including Wednesday's revenue, took the place of 'Dangal' and pushed the film to the third position.

Globally, 'KGF2' has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore mark. It is said that joining the RS 1,100 crore club soon is also a foregone conclusion. It will also enter the Rs 400 crore club in Bollywood. "We have to wait and see when and where the 'KGF2' collection record would stop."
