No early Assembly elections in AP as claimed by Chandrababu: Botsa
Amaravati, May 18: Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana ruled out early Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh as claimed by Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu. He stated that people gave mandate for the YSRCP to rule state for five years.
Who is Chandrababu to decide early elections to the state, asked Botsa and mentioned that the YSRCP will take a final decision if it wants to. Taking dig at BJP, the minister said that saffron party has no presence in AP. What BJP did for SCs in the state, asked Botsa and criticised their leaders for raking up communal violence to disturb peace and harmony between religions.
To a question, he blamed the Central government for shortage of power in AP. He came down heavily on Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan for comparing financial position of AP with Sri Lanka. “Sri Lanka is facing economic crisis due to lack of strong leadership. In AP, there is a stable government under the able leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he explained.
