Balakrishna launches OPD in Basavatarakam; Nara Brahmani, Sri Bharat take part
Hyderabad, June 10: On the occasion of his 62nd birthday, Hindupur MLA and Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Friday launched Outpatient Department (OPD) at Basavatarakam Indo American Cancer Hospital here.
Speaking on the occasion, the actor said that his father and TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao established hospital to provide affordable treatment to cancer patients. He also launched his upcoming movie ‘NBK107’ teaser. The flick is directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Mythri Movie Makers.
Later, Balakrishna cut a birthday cake. Nara Brahmani, daughter of Balakrishna, and Sri Bharat, son-in-law of actor, took part in birthday celebrations. He made fun about his age by saying that he is 26 years old.
Balayya said that the Basavatarakam Hospital has represented to the Telangana government to give permission for increasing bed strength. Several donors came forward and donated funds to the hospital. The actor and politician appreciated them for their noble gesture towards cancer patients.
