Cong will protest till ED withdraws case against Sonia, Rahul: Komatireddy
New Delhi, June 21: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Congress MP from Telangana, said that his party will continue protest till the Enforcement Directorate (ED) withdraws case against Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and repeals notification issued for Agnipath Scheme.
Talking to a reporter, the MP slammed the ED for reopening the closed National Herald case and serving notices to Sonia and Rahul. He asked as to why Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not serve an ED notice to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao when the BJP national president J.P. Nadda alleged that the Kaleshwaram irrigation project became an ATM for him.
Komatireddy mentioned that Sonia and Rahul are leading simple lives by staying in residential quarters allotted by the Central government. “Rahul’s grandmother and father sacrificed their lives for the country,” he stated. He condemned the ED for calling Rahul to attend the fourth day of questioning.
