Talks began between producers and employees’ federation: Dil Raju
Hyderabad, June 23: Tollywood producer Dil Raju said on Friday that talks started between the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation and Telugu Film Producers’ Council over wage hike and working conditions for the workers belonging to 24 crafts.
Talking to reporters, he mentioned that final outcome of discussions will be informed to the media after sorting out all issues on day-to-day basis. To a question, Dil Raju stated that film shootings resumed and termed agitation of cine workers as a concluded issue. He did not buy the argument that small producers were not part of the discussions. “12 out of 20 producers participated in talks are small producers,” he revealed.
On Thursday, Cinematography Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav told workers and producers to sort out issues amicably so that intervention of the Telangana government is not needed. He said that negotiations regarding wage hike and working conditions got delayed because of pandemic.
