MLA Gadikota clears air on Y.S. Vijayamma to relinquish YSRCP honorary prez post
Guntur, July 8: Government Chief Whip and MLA Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said on Friday that the YSRCP plenary will begin with inaugural address by party president and Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Later, YSRCP honorary president Y.S. Vijayamma will deliver the speech.
To a question, he rubbished reports appeared in a section of media that Vijayamma would quit honorary chief post in the plenary. He stated that regional coordinators and district party presidents would sit in the first row along with Jagan on the stage. Seats are arranged for ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and ZP chairpersons in the next row, he added.
Srikanth further said that four teams are looking after food arrangements for delegates attending plenary. “We are ensuring enough food is cooked to serve two lakh people in a day,” he mentioned and said that instructions will be given to police officials not to cause inconvenience to delegates by stopping them in the name of security.
