CM Jagan visited flood-hit village on request of Jana Sena workers: Minister Chelluboina

Rajahmundry, July 27: Minister for Backward Classes Welfare Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopal Krishna on Wednesday said that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had visited Burigelalanka on the request of Jana Sena workers even though it was not part of his schedule.

Speaking to the media, he said that Jagan always believes CM should serve people rather showing bossism like TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. “At least Chandrababu visited a few flood-affected villages in Konaseema and West Godavari districts but Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan did set foot in a flood-hit village till date,” he slammed.

Ch Venugopala Krishna lauded the CM by saying that he interacted with villagers braving rain and inquired with them about assistance from officials and volunteers. He hit out at Opposition parties for criticising the YSRCP government in order to derive political mileage. YSRCP MLA Jakkampudi Raja and other YSRCP leaders were present. On Wednesday, the CM left to Alluri Sitarama Raju district from Rajahmundry to console flood victims.
