Chandrababu never resigned once for MLA post in last 40 years: Kodali Nani
Gudivada, July 29: Responding to Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu’s demand of YSRCP MPs’ resignation for exerting pressure on the Central government for release of funds towards Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) for Polavaram project oustees, former minister and YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani on Friday said that they don’t need free advice from the TDP chief.
Talking to reporters, he stated that the YSRCP MLAs and MPs tendered resignations on several occasions on the directions of YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. “In the last 40 years, Chandrababu never resigned once for MLA post for any cause,” he mentioned and informed Naidu to instruct his three Lok Sabha MPs to quit their posts instead of asking YSRCP.
The YSRCP MLA mentioned that Chandrababu can’t even make a sarpanch associated to the TDP to tender resignation. He further said that his party knows when to ask MLAs and MPs to quit posts.
