Hyd: TRS MP Nama’s son robbed of cash at knifepoint in heart of the city
Hyderabad, August 2: Two unidentified persons stopped the car of Nama Prithvi Teja, son of TRS MP from Khammam Nama Nageswara Rao, and forcibly entered into his vehicle at Tolichowki on Sunday night. This incident took place when Prithvi Teja was returning home from a shopping mall.
Later, both made Prithvi Teja to drive the car for some time on various roads and asked him to stop in a secluded place near Panjagutta. They robbed Rs 75,000 from him by threatening with a knife and ran away. Based on the complaint of MP’s personal assistant, the Panjagutta police registered a case on Monday evening.
Robbing a ruling party MP’s son created a sensation in Telugu states. Now, the police are verifying the CCTV footage to identify the robbers for nabbing them at the earliest. The case has become a challenge for cops as robbery took place in heart of the city.
