Mountain View School was established as part of Relief Project India. It was started with the aim of teaching lessons to poor students in the English medium. Katrina Kaif's mother Suzanne taught lessons in this school for a few days.

Earlier, Katrina Kaif appealed to the people to donate funds to this school. She said that the funds will be used to build classrooms.
