Panel to submit report on Nayanathara-Vignesh surrogacy to TN govt on Oct 26
Chennai: The panel appointed by the Tamil Nadu government has completed the probe into the surrogacy dispute of star heroine Nayanathara and her husband Vignesh Shivan. The panel members will submit a report to the government on Wednesday.
It may be recalled that Lady Superstar Nayanathara and Vignesh Shivan’s surrogacy dispute had led to a big discussion. The couple’s birth of twins within four months of their marriage became a hot topic.
The news came to the fore that rules have been violated in surrogacy. It is in this context, that the Tamil Nadu government has ordered an investigation. The probe was completed on Tuesday. Against this backdrop, the couple sent an affidavit to the panel stating that they registered their marriage six years ago.
They said that they had applied for surrogacy in December last year and that rules had not been violated. There is suspense as to what would be the outcome of the report of the committee, which has completed the investigation.
