Jai Bhim Bharat Party Chief Condemns Assault on Dastagiri's Family, Calls for CBI Investigation
Amaravati: 'Jai Bhim Bharat' party chief Jada Shravan Kumar strongly condemned the attack on the family members of Dastagiri, who had announced his intention to contest in the upcoming general elections from Pulivendula. He described the attack as another piece of evidence of the heinous acts of YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Avinash Reddy. Speaking to the media on Saturday, he said that YCP goons attempted to kill Dastagiri's father ruthlessly for daring to contest against YS Jaganmohan Reddy from Pulivendula. He warned that if Dastagiri does not withdraw from the contest, his entire family would be assassinated.
The assault was carried out by goons of YS Avinash Reddy around 8 PM on Friday night in Namalagundu village of Pulivendula Mandal. Shravan Kumar reminded that Dastagiri had already announced his candidacy against Jagan from Pulivendula, and he had joined the Jai Bhim Bharat party last week. He criticized the inability of YS Avinash Reddy and Jaganmohan Reddy to challenge Dastagiri's candidacy as a despicable act and demanded immediate security for all members of Dastagiri's family.
Furthermore, Sharavan Kumar announced plans to file a petition in the CBI court on the 12th regarding the attack on Dastagiri's family and to seek the cancellation of Avinash Reddy's bail. He accused Jaganmohan Reddy and YS Bharathi of being involved in the recent incident and claimed it was orchestrated with the encouragement of Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. In light of these events, Dastagiri has requested immediate protection for himself and his family members.
