Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, held a press conference today in Tadepalli. During this event, he addressed the topic concerning megastar Chiranjeevi.
Sajjala clarified that no one has insulted Chiranjeevi, and if he wishes to enter politics, there would be no objections to it. He acknowledged Chiranjeevi as a great film star but criticized him for associating with individuals accused of defrauding banks. Sajjala expressed his surprise over Chiranjeevi speaking for people with malevolent intentions.
Furthermore, he mentioned that supporters of Pawan Kalyan are hoping for him to be given the chief minister’s role for two years. However, Chandrababu Naidu has restricted Pawan to only 21 assembly seats, with up to 12 of these candidates being from other parties, leaving only about ten tickets for Pawan’s close associates.
Sajjala speculated that there is still room for further reduction in this count, and it might even lead to a situation where Pawan Kalyan withdraws from the Pithapuram contest. He suggested that there is a chance for Pawan Kalyan to say farewell to Pithapuram due to his desire to campaign across the state.
He also noted that Chandrababu, aiming to maintain control over all seats, would probably not miss the opportunity to replace Pawan Kalyan with SVSN Varma in Pithapuram.
