CM Jagan Equates AP Elections to Kurukshetra, Calls for Support

The upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh are likened to a battlefield by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. Speaking at a gathering in Macherla, Guntur district, he emphasized that these elections are not just about selecting MPs and MLAs, but about deciding the future of the people. He stated that voting for him would mean supporting the continuation of welfare schemes, whereas a vote for Chandrababu would lead to the termination of these initiatives.
During his speech, CM Jagan claimed that over the past five years, his government directly disbursed Rs. 270,000 crores under various welfare schemes and created 250,000 jobs. He highlighted the absence of staff shortages in government hospitals due to new medical appointments and criticized the opposition for abandoning their manifesto promises after elections.
He further compared the YSRCP manifesto to religious scriptures, claiming a 99% fulfillment rate of the promises made. He spoke about the 'Naadu-Nedu' program, which improved infrastructure in government schools and introduced English medium teaching and digital learning methods. Every student was provided with tablets and textbooks in both English and Telugu.
For women's empowerment, his government provided zero-interest loans, house sites, and other benefits under various schemes like 'Aasara', 'Kapu Nestham', 'Cheyutha', and 'OBC Nestham'. CM Jagan urged the public to vote for YSRCP in the forthcoming elections to continue these developments.
