Former YSRCP MP Nandigam Suresh faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh High Court. His petition seeking bail in a case related to the murder of a woman named Mariyamma was rejected. The High Court dismissed his bail petition.

Case Details: The incident dates back to 2020 in Velagapudi village of Tulluru Mandal, where a clash erupted between two communities. During the conflict, stones were thrown by both sides, resulting in the death of Mariyamma from Velagapudi. Following a complaint from her family members, a case was registered at Tulluru Police Station.

In this case, Nandigam Suresh was named as the 78th accused by the police. Initially, he sought bail from the Guntur Court, but his plea was denied. Subsequently, he approached the High Court, which today dismissed his bail petition as well.
