Harish Rao Criticizes Congress Over Adani T-Shirt Controversy

BRS leaders wearing T-shirts with Adani's photos were stopped by police at the Assembly session. Police asked them to remove the T-shirts, leading to a heated argument between the police and BRS members.

During the altercation, BRS MLA and former minister Harish Rao criticized the Congress government. He pointed out that Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, wore Adani-themed T-shirts to Parliament in protest against alleged corruption linked to Adani. "When Rahul Gandhi wears an Adani T-shirt, it’s acceptable. Why is it a problem if we wear similar T-shirts here?" Harish Rao questioned.

He further accused Congress of hypocrisy, asking if there were different rules for Rahul Gandhi and Revanth Reddy. Harish Rao alleged that the Congress was trying to shield Revanth Reddy from accusations of illegal ties with Adani. He also criticized what he described as Revanth Reddy's "anarchic leadership" and accused the Congress of lacking clear principles.
