Mohan Babu Issues Written Apology Over Attack on Media Representative

Actor Mohan Babu has issued a written apology to TV9 management following an incident involving an alleged attack on a media representative. In a letter addressed to the TV9 team, he expressed regret for the distress caused to the media outlet and journalists due to the unfortunate incident involving his family.

Mohan Babu explained that he could not respond immediately as he was hospitalized for 48 hours after the incident. Describing the tense situation, he stated that around 30 individuals broke the gate and rushed inside, causing him to act out of concern, fearing potential threats from anti-social elements.

Expressing deep remorse, he apologized sincerely for the injury sustained by the journalist during the incident. “I wholeheartedly apologize to the TV9 team and journalist friend Ranjith’s family for the inconvenience caused by my actions. I deeply regret the emotional distress caused to you and your family,” Mohan Babu wrote in his letter.

Meanwhile, authorities have already registered a case against Mohan Babu under Section 118(1) BNS. After obtaining a legal opinion, Pahadi Shareef police additionally charged him with attempted murder under Section 109 on Thursday.
