Police Say Mohan Babu's Whereabouts Unknown

A new twist has emerged in the ongoing Manchu family dispute. It is known that Manchu family members filed complaints against each other regarding a conflict within the family. In connection with the case, the police have recorded statements from Manchu Vishnu and Manchu Manoj. However, Manchu Mohan Babu has not yet met with the police. The Pahadi Shareef police confirmed that they have not recorded any statement from him so far.

Amid the family dispute, police issued notices instructing the surrender of licensed firearms. Manchu Vishnu complied by handing over his gun. However, Mohan Babu has not surrendered his firearm yet. Reports suggest that Mohan Babu stated he would hand over the weapon when he appears to record his statement.

The Pahadi Shareef police clarified that they currently have no information on Mohan Babu's whereabouts. Sources indicate that Mohan Babu informed the police he is undergoing medical treatment and assured them he would appear for questioning within two to three days.


A case of attempted murder has been registered against Mohan Babu in connection with an alleged attack on a TV reporter near the Manchu family farmhouse. Given the seriousness of the charges, the police may arrest him without prior notice.

In anticipation of potential arrest, Mohan Babu sought anticipatory bail from the court. However, reports suggest that the High Court dismissed his bail petition, fueling speculations that he has gone into hiding to evade arrest.
