The Governor has granted permission to question BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) in the e-car racing case, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy revealed. However, he refrained from commenting on the potential arrest of KTR, stating that the legal process would unfold naturally.

Speaking after the Cabinet meeting, Minister Ponguleti stated that the Chief Secretary would formally inform the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) about the Governor’s approval. He assured that the ACB investigation into the e-car racing controversy would proceed strictly according to legal procedures.

The Minister confirmed that the Cabinet extensively discussed the Governor's decision and reviewed the alleged irregularities in the Formula E-Racing event. He refrained from making any statements regarding potential arrests in the case. He also mentioned that the government had approved filing a case against Arvind Kumar concerning the same matter, asserting that there would be no room for political vendettas under the current administration. He underscored the government's commitment to exposing corruption transparently.

The Telangana Cabinet has instructed the Chief Secretary to send a formal letter to the ACB promptly. The said letter is likely to be sent tomorrow. Notices are also likely to be issued to the e-racing event organizers and agencies involved.

The Telangana Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, lasted over five hours, focusing on key aspects of the case and the next steps in the investigation.
