DGP Jitender Stresses Responsibility Amid Stampede Incident

In the aftermath of a stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre, Telangana DGP Jitender indirectly addressed Telugu actor Allu Arjun with an advisory. Speaking at an event in Kothapalli, Karimnagar district, on Sunday, where he inaugurated a Bharosa Center, the DGP emphasized the importance of responsibility for everyone, regardless of their profession or public stature.

“Whether one is a film hero or anyone else, every citizen must act responsibly. The safety and lives of people are far more important than promoting a film,” he said. The DGP further clarified that the police are not personally against anyone but are committed to ensuring public safety.

Referring to recent incidents, Jitender stated, “He may be a film hero, but it is crucial to understand the ground realities. Such incidents are not conducive to public safety.”
